DOG STRETCHING

This video shows how you can make do by stretching the dog up and with the help of a treat reward. Compared to the video is important to perform the movements at least 5 times, after each return to the starting position and work as slowly as possible.

Stretching should be done even for a few minutes every day to keep the tissue elastic as possible. You may also do the elderly with arthritis with the necessary calm and gentle, never go overboard to keep them elastic and with a good range of motion. In puppies not yet formed but are best avoided.

Importantly for our sporting dogs: Stretching is very important to reduce injuries but should never be done immediately before a workout or a race. On these occasions it is important to do a good warm but leave the extensions for the post race / workout.

MASSAGE

The massage depending on the type of touch can be done before or after matches and training. If done before the touches must be fast and challenging so as to improve blood circulation and the relative oxygenation of the muscles. If done after, or at other times can be relaxing and done in order to release muscle tension and permenttere a more rapid recovery.

Important: Do not ever do a relaxing massage before a workout / race!

AEROBIC TRAINING

This workout video introduces aerobbico dog. This type of training improves the cardiovascular and respiratory function of the dog, allowing a better use of oxygen during athletic performance resulting in improved performance and decreased fatigue
